CURRENT PROJECTS

MGN is the general Contractor for this 72 acre Industrial Subdivision located in South-East Edmonton in the crux of Sherwood Park Freeway and Anthony Henday/Highway 14.

Currently located within Maple Ridge is Sprague Rosser, Star Investment Properties, Earle M. Jorgensen, Maple 24, Maple 32, Maple 13, and Chelsea Investments Inc.

Maple Ridge Industrial Park is the largest of our projects at this time, But there are numerous smaller projects also underway within Edmonton and outside of the province.

This is building was initially constructed in this historic district now known as Whyte Avenue. MGN Constructors oversaw large scale renovations to this one story retail property in 2006 and now they’re back to add a second story to the building.

The expansion will be a bit of a challenge in this commercial retail area as there is no space among the neighboring businesses. Construction access is limited to the rear of the building, and even more so in the front on this busy Whyte Avenue street. MGN is prepared to meet this challenge and has prepared a detailed plan of execution that will allow main floor business to continue as per usual.

A few blocks over from Whyte Avenue is one of the few and rare residential projects that MGN Constructors will take part in from time to time. MGN will oversee the construction of a three story complex on one and a half lots overseeing MillCreek Ravine.

Outside of Edmonton there are currently two projects underway, Takhini Hot Springs in the Yukon and a small commercial building in Vegreville.

Takhini Hot Springs is currently undergoing a major face-lift and redevelopment. The hot spring pools have been active since the mid 20th Century they have now been refurbished and the land around it is to be development into a world class resort. MGN Constructors is involved in this five stage project as a safety and construction consultant.

Vegreville Commercial Project

The Vegreville Commercial Project consists of interior renovations being done to the last ALCB building constructed in Alberta 1994. The Brick will be moving into this building come October and timelines are important, but MGN has already begun and is ready to get things done on time for their client.
